From Monaco to Bognor Regis

As many of you will know by now, we went to Monaco for the Monaco Yacht Show at the end of September. We had a day in one of the most affluent places in the world; connotations ranging from extreme luxury to the jewel in the crown of F1.

The R&D Process

We have been up to some intense R&D lately and I’m going to share my thoughts on the R&D process. I don’t take too kindly to it – it’s incredibly frustrating and long and it feels at best like you’re going round in circles and at worst like you’re going backwards.

The Art of Patience

Wow – what a few months it has been. I have been very quiet on the digital front, but lots has been happening behind the scenes and continuing themes of patience emerge. The latest prototype (the LR5) wasn’t quite accurate enough for the tolerances needed for the product to work so we had to go back to the drawing board in some respect and re-design some parts.

Building a business and building a rocket

The other night, we were watching how the first ever rockets were designed and built back in the mid 1940’s by Wernher von Braun. Very interesting stuff and although used at the time as weapons for destruction, they went on to help us leave Earth’s orbit and explore our closest neighbours.

Year end 2021: what has happened and what is coming next?

I wanted to write an end of year blog post as I normally do, summing up the year and what we have planned for the next

What we do versus who we are

It’s been two months since I last did a blog post! But I’m back again and I read an interesting passage which I would like to share with you regarding the different facets of our life and making sure we can distinguish between them.

Success vs Happiness in Business:

I’m hoping that this blog post will strike a chord for many of you. When I say the word ‘success’ what emotion does it stir within you? A desire to be the best? A desire for wealth? A desire for people to tell you you are successful, and have ‘made it’? Would any of these things actually make you happy?
